Every big streaming app in India lets you download movies and episodes to your phone or tablet and watch them later with the internet off. Netflix, Prime Video, JioHotstar, ZEE5, SonyLIV, Aha and ShemarooMe all have it, and so do many regional apps. It is perfect for a long journey with Kota Factory or Premalu.
How to do it
Open the title in the app and tap the download arrow beside the play button or beside each episode. Pick a quality first: the smaller setting saves space and data, the higher one looks better on a tablet. The downloaded file waits in the app's Downloads tab and plays in airplane mode.

Worth knowing
Downloads stay available for a set period and refresh when you reconnect. Most plans allow downloads on a few devices at once, and rentals start their viewing window when you first press play.
